Peak Refuel appeared on the outback food background in 2018 after spending 2 years in the shadows, perfecting their food recipes. After discovering peak refuel on Instagram, we contacted them for samples. In awe of the meal's flavor and variety of flavors, we set out to buy the entire range of 12 flavors in our store for food in the backcountry. The product is made in the USA 

Peak Refuel was begun by 4 outdoor fanatics who love great meals and the outdoors. They gathered 50 years of experience in the dried freezer industry to develop high-quality backpacking food that provides gourmet flavor. The Peak Refuel meals are frozen, dried, and packed in a USDA accredited and monitored facility at American Fork, Utah. 

Ingredients as well as "Normal" Recipes 

All suppliers and growers for Peak Refuel's ingredients must undergo a rigorous screening process before being chosen. Also, they have used the same ingredients that are well known and usually used in your kitchen. Go through the back of every Peak Refuel package to see the contents. Note how many ingredients are easy to pronounce! 

High Protein 

Peak Refuel's primary selling point is that its meals are specially designed to be protein-rich. This is crucial after an extended day in the mountains. Protein is vital for recovering after training. If you're not sitting in your tent for the entire day, you'll require protein! Most Peak Refuel's meals contain at least 40g of protein. Perhaps it's because they're produced using 100% real meat? Compare it to the other guys whose meals include plenty of fillers and only 15-20 grams of proteins. 

Light and quick

Foods from Peak Refuel are light and quick to cook. The heaviest meal weighs just 6.35oz, and most meals require just 10 mins to refresh. They consider less and cook fewer times than some other products.
